FAQ – Your Questions, Answered
These FAQs are provided to help clarify our process and expectations. You can also contact us directly for any additional questions.
What is Pre-Production?
Pre-production is where we build the blueprint for success. It includes creative planning, scheduling, scriptwriting, team prep, and shot lists. This is where we align your goals with the right visual execution, so the shoot day runs smoothly.
Do I get access to the raw footage?
We don’t typically deliver raw footage unless agreed in advance. Think of it like ordering a Michelin-star meal. You’re paying for the prepared dish, not the raw ingredients. Raw footage is ungraded, unedited, and lacks story context. If needed, raw footage access can be arranged for an additional archival and handling fee.
What’s the difference between major and minor revisions?
Minor: Simple tweaks like trimming clips, adjusting audio, or correcting a graphic.
Major: Structural changes, reordering scenes, removing full sections, re-editing voiceover, or changing music.
Each project includes 2–3 rounds of minor revisions. Major revisions may incur an additional fee.
What happens if I need changes after delivery?
Once the project is approved and signed off, any new changes are billed at £100/hour, with a 1-hour minimum. This includes revisions made after final delivery, archiving, or new platform reformatting.
How will I know my video is performing?
You’ll be able to track video performance directly via platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or Vimeo. These offer metrics such as views, retention time, click-through rates, and more. If you need help interpreting your video analytics, we’re happy to assist.
Can we add extra content during the project?
We can accommodate new ideas during production if they align with the original brief. If they expand the project scope (e.g. new videos or shoot days), we’ll provide a quote and timeline update before proceeding.
What happens if someone from our team needs to reschedule?
We understand things come up. However, we do charge for rescheduling within 48 hours of a shoot day. We’ll always aim to minimise disruption and reschedule where possible without penalties.
How long do you keep our project files?
We archive all projects for 2 weeks after final delivery. After that, files are deleted unless you request ongoing archival (available from £20/month).
Who do I contact if I have a problem?
You’ll have a dedicated project contact throughout the process, typically Peter Gowing (Creative Director). We also loop in editors and photographers directly when needed. Clear communication is part of our process.
